Armstrong-Marcy Green

Warren Street

WeeksVille

Michael Rosano Design teamed up with Bayview Landscape Architecture to redesign (4) former NYCA properties now owned and operated by the Arker Companies.

The goals and objectives of each campus were the following:

  • Enhance quality of life through the introduction of a wide array of opportunities for residents to engage in outdoor activities.

  • Renovate existing positive aspects of campus design for the next generation to enjoy.

  • Develop amenities that respond to the broad spectrum of ages that will engage with the campus improvements.

  • Increase natural green space by reducing magnitude of unnecessary concrete paved areas.

  • Respect the area’s history while updating for modern conveniences and materials.

  • Be aware of site safety concerns and design for increased visibility and lighting throughout the campus.
