Battery Park Bosque, Battery Place, State Street and Whitehall Street, New York, New York is a horticultural destination with a world class ornamental garden that boasts over 40,000 perennial flowers.  Walking paths and a fountain with lovely garden borders and well placed lighting makes this area a wonderful place to visit in season. The Bosque was designed by world renowned Dutch garden designer, Piet Oudolf.

The following project is from Michael’s tenure with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as Assistant Landscape Architect/Borough Supervisor. His on site project management responsibilities included coordination of all contractors, over sight for proper construction installation methods, tree preservation, monitoring all transplanting of specimen trees and inspection and tagging of all plant material to be used on the projects & supervision and implementation of design changes in the field.
